Sophie Daalman (1994) is a documentary photographer based in the Netherlands. She currently studies photography at the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague. Her work arrives from her interrest in cultural stereotypes, general prejudices and identity questions. Photography enables her to question her own prejudices and to look closely at other groups in society. With her work she hopes to involve others in her research and aims to raise questions to her audience to ideally to create awareness about preconceived idea’s in today’s society.
